Hi I just joined and am filling out the I 129f forms and have some questions. Any help would be appreciated.

On the I 129f part 3 2c it asks if I've been arrested and/or convicted more than 3 times for alcohol or controlled substance. I have a total of 4 arrests and 1 conviction. The most recent one was from summer of 2002 over 15 years ago. I am going to check yes but all but one were dismissed. I have a public intox conviction. Also for question 4a I served no time and my fines were not over $500 so should I put no? Also how should I go about getting the old records? These are all from when I was 18-21 years old. Maybe ask an attorney or go to the police for a background check?

Yes, you need to mark yes. As to your records, you don't have anything from the court proceedings? You should always keep court documents. Try contacting the police station where you were arrested to get the records. You want the dispositions (saying what you were charged with if it's dismissed or guilty)

I tried looking for the paperwork but being that the oldest one is almost 20 years old and since my last arrest over 15 years ago I had moved several times and lost most of it. I know for sure only one guilty plea/conviction. I'm hoping an attorney friend will be able to get the court documents. All but one are in the same county which I still reside. I just want to be 100% honest and not have any issues in this. Everything else is good to go.

Thanks for your speedy reply :)

No problem! You should be ok, like I said I'd just contact the police departments it should be pretty easy to get the records. As long as you're honest you'll be ok.
