I would think you won't need to schedule another medical exam to complete I693 unless your medical exam records gets lost  somewhere from POE point to the the local field office. My medical exam was taken around June 2017. My interview is April 23rd. I will keep update regarding to this matter.

Hi friend, I am also from Vietnam. Nice to meet you here

My GC interview is April 27, my medical exam was also taken in 2017, August - 2 months after you. Today I checked again my original vaccination record and it found it stated COMPLETED (which I also made a copy for uscis when I filed AOS), my interview letter mentioned that "bring a completed medical examination (Form I-693) and vaccination record supplement in a sealed envelop (unless already submitted)". Do you guys have this request in the interview letter ?

Hiiii!! It’s nice to meet VNese fellow here. My notice indeed states the same as yours. I think it is generic request. I-693 is waived for K visa under couple circumstances if we have medical exam overseas within 1 year before filing AOS; not class A medical condition/ waived class A medical condition; and has the valid complete DS 3025. This info i think everyone of us have aware of.

however, in my ds 3025, even though it said “complete request for blanket waiver”, i’m still lacking t-dap shot ( marked routinely not available) even though in August, i was be able to get that shot; but it was too late to update my ds-3025. At this situation now, it all depends on the IO who will interview me, and lemme get away with my DS-3025.

I think i would find a civil surgeon to transcribe my vaccination record to new I-693 to play safe. Lol i have one month to decide!!

That's really frustrating to hear but I guess it's the luck of the draw. I know I'm not the only one who got this RFIE. Mine is very well written and very clear to read.

I had an RFE for my birth certificate (Canadian from Ontario) as well. I could read mine just fine and I think other people wouldn't have any problems reading it. Anyway, I ended up resending the birth certificate (long-form though it is not the original copy) as well as the short form and a notice of a birth certificate that all reference back to the long form birth certificate.

I am definitely not going to call. It says in the letter that i received that it is marriage based so i will just go with that for now and show up at the interview.

There is no way they made a mistake with the letter that they mailed so im thinking that it should be a computer error or smth!

Have you guys received anything about EAD yet ?

I have not received my ead yet. Am on my 85th day. My ead status still says my “case was received.”

I just checked my mailbox, i still did not received my interview mail as well but the app still says that on march 23, they scheduled my interview for i485. I’ll wait till friday, if there’s still no mail by then i’ll call my lawyer to call uscis for my recent “interview” case update.

Nope!! I haven't gotten an update since fingerprint fee received in January

The Uscis case status webpage has Jan 18th as last updated for all my cases and this message says 1st Feb..

This is not going to be a straight forward process.. Keep getting contradicting updates.

this is nothing so don't worry about it.

on the new uscis site, under settings, there is something called "case inactivity notifications". if you have that on, uscis sends you this update automatically every two weeks to say that well, there has been no update on your case. when you created your account on the site you might not have remembered setting this up, but you got this because the default setting is "on".
