As an FYI for anyone looking for a drivers license. The wife was able to get her license renewed as PPR (Pending Permanent Residency) using the I-797 from our Biometric appointment, so at least for Ohio you just need the Passport, Marriage Certificate, Social Security Card if you have it, I-797 for your I-485 or Biometric Appointment and boom you have your license. They even gave her a full 4 year license.

I'm on day 99, coming from a K1 as well. Not impatient yet! :)

I guess we're more used to waiting :P

When I was around day 70 I didn't even bother checking the status of my applications.

I would check mine twice a week, but have never felt impatient. It's not because I got my interview sched incredibly fast and am no longer worried-- even if I didn't, I'd still be pretty chill right now since my K1 process took more than half a year. Filed K1 January last year and got here in August, just a month before you did. Didn't file for AOS til January because we had to use our savings to move to a new place.

But yeah, us K1 filers seem pretty chill compared to those adjusting from a different status. I don't know if B2 is generally easy to get, but B2 visa holders don't seem to be used to waiting more than 2 months. K1 was excruciating but a very good training. It made the AOS process seem like a piece of cake because now we're waiting right next to our loves! :D

I completely agree, I came on a K1 back in November. Currently waiting on AOS and I can honestly say I've been the most chilled out in a long time. I'm just happy to be here with my husband, I check the mail once a week and never check the case tracker, it's like I'm a whole new woman

K1 process turned us into very patient women! Haha!

NOT ONLY DID THE GREEN CARD GET APPROVED MONDAY BUT IT ALREADY CAME IN THE MAIL!!! Yayyy!! You guys it feels SO GOOD! I'm so glad I had all your support this whole time or this process would have been way harder!  Our interview was a full hour long 😬  But the guy was really nice and understanding when they were small discrepancies in our answers.  He did not look at a single paper that I brought  but he did ask us each to see our phones to see  what are name somewhere for each other as our contacts  and also asked us to show him pictures of us together on our phones. Finally all the stress has paid off!!

YAYYY CONGRATS! You are bringing some positive vibes here, Enjoy.

Morning All,

Even though my husband haven’t gotten his EAD yet , we received emails from USCIS that they are still reviewing our case and the last action was in February . At least there is some kind of response from their camp lol .

Guys we are almost there , we just have to keep the faith.

I had the same update in February, that’s a generic message to all the petitioners lol.
