I got the biometrics letter and the appointment is next week. I would love to go this week. Has anyone ever walked in in New York? Wouldn’t want to go for nothing.

My hubby did and they allowed it :)

I know it's probably early but has anyone gotten their ead yet?

Hi Kaitmarie,

No update since after biometrics for me.

We seem to have sane timeline as my pd is 3rd Jan 2018...

Last update still stays at 18th Jan on the website...

Hopefully something happens soon...

I saw from a different thread that one January filer successfully applied expedite EAD, the person was approved this past week. I’m in the middle of hearing back from my expedite request too.

Hello Lady's and Gents hope everyone is having a good morning,

I wanted to share with you guys my RFE For application i485 for my wife so below are the details I will upload the second half after this. I just wanted some insight I mean I see it Cleary speaks about my income not meeting poverty guidelines but I believe after some snooping around in other forums I've read that that is a generic message that appears always on RFE's for i485 . I make 36k a year and I'm the sponsor for my wife and its just me and her . But still want to know if I should send in my 2017 tax returns I mean I know it wont hurt to send.

Also in part two of the RFE you Will see where it says I need to re fill out page 4 of the i485 application witch I will do I put the wrong number in the box of persons being supported I put 1 instead of 2 so I will be doing that ASAP to get back on track with my case .

Thanks in advance for any responses very well appreciated have a blessed day :)

Hello GioRod

Normaly 36K should be enough but I am thinking since there are not sure of your household size and you made a mistake on the form, probably thats why they sent you this, I am not sure what you originally included in your package but I would suggest sending your tax return for 2017, last 2 months paychecks for January and February 2018 and a letter from your employer stating how much you made yearly  for 2017 and what will be your yearly salary for 2018.

Also since you are borderline I believe 125% for a household of 2 is 35K, if you have the possibility to get easily a joint sponsor a family member, friend, please do so, at least you know you will be covered without a doubt.

Good luck :)

That sounds right for the Advanced Parole. I am also thinking I need to send this in now because I am probably looking at January next year for an interview for the GC. Ugh. My 96 year old grandfather took a turn for the worse and he may live another 2 years or he may die tomorrow. Him and I were extremely close and my sister says that the only way he knows who she is is if she name drops me and then he is like oh yes Rebecca's sister. How is Rebecca? Is she liking Colorado? My sister said despite that he is forgetting much he always remembers me and where I am. For that I am happy but I miss him terribly and my whole family. Family has always been important to me and this is the hardest part for me being away from them. My Mum already said that her and my sister decided that every Christmas they are getting me a plane ticket home for whenever I need to come. :) They miss me too. lol

Thank you :)

Wow 1 year wait thats long, but who knows you may have a pleasant surprise, never know.

Awww I really hope you can make it home to see your granddaddy before the unevitable happens. call him, videochat with him if possible, Im sure it will help in the mean time. Hang in there, I feel you, I miss my parents very much as well.

How was the derby? I hope you and your husband had fun

@SttAnd @sashu any luck with your phonecalls about biometrics? I hope you can fix it soon.

I am expecting a letter from NBC today, 5pm where are you? Lol, thats when the mailman gets to our place, cant wait to find out what it is.

In the mean time, let me go get ready to take some pictures and send my AP today.

Have a great week everybody, praying for some good news and movement for all of us

Hello,

Did they let you expedite this early into the process? I want to do an expedite because I am currently on a TN visa, and my work authorization expires in June. I am starting to get nervous because I have a great job, and I don't want to lose it. However, when I called, they indicated that it was probably too early for me to try to expedite.

Thanks and good luck!

My PD is January 2nd. You can search the forum for expedite tips. I applied due to a job offer.
