Waiting, waiting so patiently waiting. :) If my husband feels up to it we are going to head to Denver tomorrow afternoon to watch the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls Derby League have their home openers. I am soooo excited. I used to play roller derby in Canada and I miss it terribly. Looking forward to going to it very much. :) Hopefully we can. I might go by myself if he can't but it would be more fun with him. He has never seen roller derby live. Oh the rush the adrenaline you get just from watching and the excitement from the players and crowd is amazing.

Today my husband has laser treatment for his diabetic retinopathy fun fun. So in a couple hours we will head out for that. Thank god he has decent insurance cause with him not going full hours to work right now and me not working its getting harder. Seeing the derby is a treat and doesn't cost too much. I told him we did not have to go to save the money but he says no you want to go and we need to do something fun. lol

I agree with your hubby. I hope you guys have some fun, let your hair down and enjoy yourself. 😄

Most likely they will not be able to verify your identity online since you (probably) moved to your place not too long ago, you will have to pick the closest post office from their list and go there for them to verify your identity in person by bringing a picture Id and a barcode they will send you by email. Im not sure about a PO box though, hopefully USPS website can give you that info

Ask your husband to do it for you. I tried to do it myself, but as @Nouchiganghave stated above, you'd have to go to the closest post office and bring an ID and proof of residence. My hubby decided to sign up for it, and he was able to do everything online since they already had all the records of where he has lived and etc.

Hello Guys,

I didn't apply for Advanced Parole at first when I sent my package, but after reading other timelines, looking at processing times, and seeing the stall for us, I have decided to send my application for AP on Monday just to be safe in case I want to travel out of the country in the mean time.

Here is what I intend to send, if anybody did the process successfully please correct me if I'm wrong:

  • I-131 form
  • Copy of I-797 for AOS
  • I-94 of most recent entry in the US
  • copy of my passport
  • 2 identical pictures
  • A letter I typed out explaining the reasons for my trip

Should I add anything else?

Thank you for your input

What I don't understand is why they can't use the same bionetrics for the EAD

I was actually reading the october 2017 thread and one filer that sent both her application for EAD and AOS at the same time had to go twice to get her fingerprints done because for some reason they didnt put both on the same appointment, so it kinda makes sense that they make you go back and get your biometrics done again.

I hope the center is not too far from your house.

Hey! I got the same letter today though I made my biometrics on 2/28. I think it’s because when I filed all three forms, I-765 was rejected and I had to send it again.

But I called to Uscis today about that and she said only one biometric appointments should be performed and they will redirect me to tyer 2. As it was late already and all tyers 2 are busy they are going to give me a call tomm regarding this.
