Received this i-797 approval today. And just got a notification saying that my green card has been mailed today. Super relieved.

I am crying so hard right now. I just got the approval email for my EAD. Today was day 140.

Ok cool beans ,  this whole thing is teaching me a world of patience trust me .  I hope my hubby's EAD comes quick because he is getting so bored being at home and claim he getting fat lol. Glad to have a Yaardie on this to share this journey with.

Girl same here this process is all abt patience lol. Def glad to have another yardie to share with! What's ur timeline?

Yesss lol ... We sent it off Jan 23, it got signed for on the 24th then on the 3oth we got email and txt .

So now Im waiting on the Informed Delivery to tell me , Hey you got mail lol hahah

Ahh sweet I didn't do the email/text initially so I just have to sit on my butt and wait it out!

The other way around...BIO first then EAD. Good luck

8/14/17 --- AOS sent I-485, I-765, I-131

8/16/17 --- AOS Packet received Chicago USCIS Day 0

8/21/17  --- Received email & text notification 

8/23/17  --- Received hard copy of NOA  

9/01/17  --- Biometrics letter notice for I-485 & I-765 & I-131  

9/11/17  --- Biometrics Appointment Done

10/17/17 - Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

11/30/2017 - EAD/AP Approved
12/01/2017 - Card in Production
12/05/2017 - Received Approval Notice in the Mail
12/06//2017 - Card Mailed (Priority Mail) to Me
12/07/2017 - Card Received 

1/19/18  --- Interview Date 2/21

2/21/18  ---  Approved on the Spot

  • 1 hour after the interview received uscis mobile app alert
  • Status changed from "Interview is scheduled" to "New Card Is Being Produced

2/26/18  --- Received hard copy of NOA for the Green Card

2/26/18  --- USCIS Mobile Status changed to "Card was mailed to me"

2/28/18 --- Permanent Resident/Green Card received :jest:

The i765 we initially sent with our AOS package unfortunately got rejected for outdated forms. So we did another application and sent off which is scheduled for delivery Mon! I just received the NOA for the others and those were accepted with a priority date 01/16

So I was just snooping around and found out that as of Nov 30,2017 they were processing EADs and APs from those who submitted their application in September 2017 .. Its weird though that they do not update their time frames often. Oh well now that I have found that on their website , I will continue to check on it to see updates.

I know someone who didn't even receive the EAD till after the interview. And then read abt some who's ead expired before interview so it's weird how each case play out!!
