Oh you didn't have a date yet?
Then it's either a bug or you get waived, I guess.
People I meant who got postponed for storm HAD an actual interview date.

Just wait a day or 2 and see what's happening! Maybe others show up here with the same issue.

There's no chance that mail was lost towards you? Maybe interview date letter?

Is it possible that interview got waived? I am adjusting from F-1. That would be strange but awesome I guess.

I have called before and checked my statuses daily and there was no sign of an interview. I also have informed delivery.

If mail got lost and case is declined that would be too much to handle. I really hope that is not the case.

I don't know. But nothing is impossible. Although IF something like that happened, all cases I heard of were K1.

I'd wait until tomorrow, if it doesn't change back, call USCIS and ask what this status means, since you're understandably worried.

No, you won't get an interview waiver when adjusting from any sort of non-immigrant visa (which the F1 is). An interview is alway given on F1. Only those with K-1 visas may get interview waived due to it being an immigrant visa.

Yeah, that's what I think too.
All people I saw getting waived were K1.
And nowadays not even those anymore. Sigh. That would be a dream.

Yeah, that is what I thought. That is why it is strange to me that the interview is canceled.

@Britinstl This update only showed up on new DHS website, not on the old USCIS website. Is the old website not functional at all anymore? I am very confused by this interview cancellation message and how things work in general.

They both seem to be functional. Most of my updates came through new site, but the 'ready for interview' update came through the old one.

Another update: I talked to T2 officer who said that interview was scheduled on March 23rd (He confirmed that no mail was sent out at all, therefore I had no idea about this. None of the websites showed this either.) and now after realizing that it is too soon to schedule it (since I submitted my application 3 months ago) they canceled it. He said that interview was scheduled in error. WEIRD.

That is weird. I just got my interview done today and I submitted my application three months ago also.

Congrats! Did you get approved?

Yeah, it is weird. I do not mind waiting, but this news kinda throw me off. I just don't want to get another update that my case was denied because I did not show up at the interview. I have heard similar stories...

Overall it was a good experience I’d say. The io was so nice and it seemed like she was so excited to talk to us. She only asked us basic questions:

1)when did u guys meet?

2) how long after dating did U meet his parents?

3) when did u decide to get married?

4) when and where did U get married?

Then she asked both me and my husband where we went to school and where are we working and what profession we have. Dob as well.

She asked for proof of relationship we had( bank account, life insurance, car insurance, tickets of rips we had done and an offer put for a house recently) she seemed satisfied with it, she also kept some of the pics i brought.

Then she asked all the yes no questions. At the end she said everything looks good. But she didn’t say approve or not. But she said I might need to provide court disposition for a Traffic ticket I had 3 yrs ago ( I thought traffic tickits don’t count grrr) All she said was we will hear in mail and if she needs anything extra she will sent a letter in mail. That was about it. I was hoping to get an approval on the spot 😞

Mine went as well as it could I thought. I got an officer who apparently was her first day interviewing. She was super nice and very thorough - spent quite some time talking about our relationship. In the end she said that it was an obvious approval but she needed the approval from her supervisor since she’s new.

Did you get approved?
