Yeah, I've noticed! I have an account on both government tracking websites, and they're not in line with each other, and one has updates over the other, and vice versa! Pretty confusing, and odd! Also, my EAD application jumped back in time to 'received your case' from 'biometrics review complete' once I got the ready to be scheduled update, which has confused me even further! Please, do let us know what it says! :)

"Biometrics Review Complete"?
I haven't heard of that yet! Is that on the AOS application or on EAD/AP?
When does that show up?
Mine says Biometrics Fee Received since December. Is that supposed to show after that?

Confused!

Dear filers I have these worries about my name order and need advice from you guys: the name order on my passport was wrongly put. So the order is different from the one on my birth certificate. However, we’ve been using the order of name on my birth certificate through out this process. But because my K1 visa was issued on the same passport, my I-94 form has this order. But all my other documents since K1 have the correct order on my birth certificate. My question is, should I call USCIS to correct this now or let them correct it during my interview. I didn’t want to change the name format for fear of confusion between my K1 application documents and AOS application documents. I’ll gladly listen to each and everyone’s advice here

if passport is wrong, you should change your incorrect name on your passport through your embassy.      you will most likely use it when you travel back to your country.

Thanks for the advice and this’s what I thought doing before submitting my AOS application but the process to get a new passport was daunting. So my worries now are if this name thing will retard my application process or whether the process will be smooth and I’ll given the opportunity to correct it during my interview

it may cost bit more but try checking with a local travel agency that does travel to the country to help with the passport issue.      my travel agent has connections with my foreign wife's country and they know the requirements to help with your passport.

for example, i needed a vietnamese visa renewed and my travel agent went through the Mexico embassy to get one with 5 days.    i had no problem going through immigration.

We still have the dreaded technical error on USCIS (3 weeks now), shows a date of case updated but a blank update for I-485.  Talking to Tier 2 didn't do any good they just told us to wait a year and couldn't tell us what the update was.

Dam that sucks I'm goin on 2 weeks with error when I called they told me they are requesting for an interview. I called today but tier 2 officer line was closed so I will be calling Monday to see what they tell me. Will you be calling back hopefully you call back and get a more helpful Officer.

Hi all - haven't posted too much here, but was so excited yesterday to get an email that our interview is being scheduled!! We're hoping to get the date in the mail in the next few days. Our priority date was January 26, so definitely a lot quicker than expected! We received a RFIE for the I-864 on February 22 and our response was received March 6. We will be interviewing at the Philadelphia office.

The timing works well because my husband's H-1B expires at the end of August, so hopefully we will not even need to worry about the EAD if we get approved at the interview :)

Best of luck to everyone!

Omg, somebody from Philly office got interview scheduled?! Can't believe in it.

Our submitted date is February 6th and bio taken on March 6th. No notification yet ((( Getting crazy already sitting at home doing nothing :)

Good luck, guys.

Please write back how was your interview, what questions they will ask, etc.

Thanks!

Good Luck to you and all.

Interview for May 10!!! Happened WAY quicker than I thought it would. However, our co-sponsonr said she withdrew (I don't know if she actually did?) so I'm not sure what's gonna happen

Heeeeey! Good to see you again! :)

How's life, besides waiting? :)

I wish you a lot of patience and a little luck! :)
I filed in December and still got nothing!

It’s our interview in 9 days! I can’t believe how fast the last month has gone since I received the interview date. I’m pretty sure we have all of our ducks lined up but I’m nervous I’ve forgotten something really important, and after reading some reviews of the Chicago office I’m nervous about the officer being mean or rude. I don’t do confrontation very well! I’m also still quite nervous about the fact that my online status still shows employment based interview, when in fact we are K1.

On the application for a SSN it has options for which i will need to choose one box. Citizenship:  Legal alien Allowed to work OR Legal alien Not Allowed to work. Any help thanks :)

I will have my interview early May, and my online status also shows interview based on employment while I’m adjusting from F1. I don’t think it’s an issue.
