Hello Lady's and Gents hope everyone is having a good morning,

I wanted to share with you guys my RFE For application i485 for my wife so below are the details I will upload the second half after this. I just wanted some insight I mean I see it Cleary speaks about my income not meeting poverty guidelines but I believe after some snooping around in other forums I've read that that is a generic message that appears always on RFE's for i485 . I make 36k a year and I'm the sponsor for my wife and its just me and her . But still want to know if I should send in my 2017 tax returns I mean I know it wont hurt to send.

Also in part two of the RFE you Will see where it says I need to re fill out page 4 of the i485 application witch I will do I put the wrong number in the box of persons being supported I put 1 instead of 2 so I will be doing that ASAP to get back on track with my case .

Thanks in advance for any responses very well appreciated have a blessed day :)

OH MY GOODNESS!

Turns out, the first "tier 2" rep I spoke with was right. They DID send me a letter, and it IS my interview schedule. April 3! Holy #######, that's soon. I am in shock. @_@

I'd like to mention that after talking to this person, I called again twice and spoke to 2 different tier 2 reps as well. Both of them told me that they did not send me a letter and that my case status is still pending. Both of them also said that it is impossible for me to get an interview schedule so soon. Now that I think about it, the 2 other people I spoke introduced themselves as immigration officers, and I remember the first one was supposed to be a tech support person. I guess tech support reps can see letters generated and what kind of letters they are? I'm still unsure, but what matters now is that that first person was right.

It looks like something good came out of my case tracking issue. I am still unable to check the status of my AOS-- it is still giving me a "user-defined error" message, but I have my interview schedule letter at hand and I am happy and nervous! Seriously, how is this possible? I hope everyone gets theirs soon, too!

PS. I can track my AP and EAD just fine. Nothing new. Last updated on Jan 18.

Thanks! I still can't believe it. I'm so happy that first rep was right, because the last one I spoke with was so incredibly rude. She kept interrupting me saying, "listen, listen, there is no way you'll get an interview schedule so stop being confused". I tried so hard to keep my composure! lol

Thank you! I am adjusting from a K1 visa. I saw my case updated on Feb 26 but I couldn't check the new status because the site kept giving me an error. Can't track my case even on the app, so I called them and the tier 2 rep said they sent me an interview request letter on Feb 27. Yay!

Thanks! My husband is a veteran (former marine) but I'm not sure if that helped with the case. It sure did nothing when we applied for my K1 visa. :/

Also, my friend who is an October filer also got her interview sched quickly, even though her husband is not in the military/not a veteran. I think it's all luck, because my cousin who is a June filer STILL does not have an interview sched. We're all adjusting from the same status and we're all from CA (me and friend from LA and cousin from OC).

Thanks! I am from Los Angeles, CA. It's weird that I got my interview sched this quick knowing how many immigrants live here. I was not so lucky during K1 so I guess lady luck decided to be nice to me this time. :P I hope you receive good news soon!

@keixjil I believe was the first one to get the "case is ready to be scheduled for interview" status, but I'm not sure if s/he has received their schedule.

I, on the other hand, never got this status as I have been unable to track my case ever since they updated it on 2/27 and sent me the interview schedule letter. It has and I think it will keep giving me the "user-defined error" message because after talking to three tier 2 officers, all I got was "this is a known issue and we are working on a new site to fix this". But yeah, I am assuming my status right now says ready for interview or something.
