You may want a translation of your birth certificate if it’s hand written. We got an RFIE requesting a translation from English to English because of this.

Sorry to but in here, but, is this some kind of joke!? Haha. A translation from English to English 🙄. Wow.

I got the apostile on my BC because I need it to enroll into military DEERS but that's still on a hand written British birth certificate.

Out of curiosity, if you don't mind me asking, where did you get it translated and how much did it cost?

Thanks

I thought the total due was $1225, because there are no fees for the I-131 and I-765 when filing the AOS. Is that incorrect?

I filed the I-130 as well

Hi everyone!

I sent my AOS package about a week ago and I received email and text notifications. Checks are also cashed. I concurrently applied for I-767 and now I am wondering if I can put in expedited review of I-767 providing under 'severe financial loss'. Does anyone know if this can be done before biometrics appointment? Anyone has any experience with expedited request on I-767?

Thank you in advance and good luck to you all!

Hello All ,

After double checking , triple checking, reading all the forums ( Oh lord , every hour on the hour lol ) and all the nerves , my husband and I have sent off our AOS  packet for his adjustment ( I-485 , I130/130A,  I-131, I-765 along with the check of $1760.00) . It feels like a weight has been lifted although we still have a long way to go ... I am happy that we all have a support system on VJ . Here's the start to our journey

01/23/2018 :  AOS packet sent by FedEx

01/24/2018:   Package delivered & signed for by J.Chyba

Hi all! We sent my husband's AOS package on Tuesday January 22, what a relief to get that out! We sent via Fed Ex express and just got notification from Fed Ex that the package was rejected ... now I am sick to my stomach! Looking through this forum I saw that some previously had success calling Fed Ex and asking them to indicate on the package that payment is enclosed, so we tried that but have not heard anything yet. Sigh. Hope to not be a February 2018 filer now.

Stewt was correct

If you file the I-130 then paying 1225 is not correct. you have to pay and extra 535 dollars for form I-130
