They used to tell me the same. After submitting everything, a week after I got an email saying I need to submit my ds260. I called and gave them the date I did it and they confirmed it. But they said it didnt show on their system due to issues and it will take 11 weeks to fix.

I got CC Jan 26. I think they just say they have issues so you have a reason to wait >.>

Honestly, that's what i'm thinking as well! I just keep seeing all of these approved documents from way later scan dates, I'm starting to get worried, hopefully they're just fibbing! Congrats on your CC, all the best on your journey!

SD: 12/20/2017 ...i see other people with the same SD still waiting and others with SD after and have case complete. It's very frustrating the NVC process, i feel more than the first part at USCIS. Knowing you're so close to the finish line but there's something holding you from getting there.

On the other hand congrats to everyone who has received CC, wish you all the best of luck! :)

Has anyone tried to contact the NVC regarding their case, our scan date is 12/8/2017 and we have yet to hear anything. We know it could take up to 11 weeks, but on January 6th we got an email stating our DS-260 was missing (we submitted that 12/1/2017). I can never get a straight answer out of them,  I called once after 6 weeks to be sure the document is squared away and the woman literally said "It will take up to 11 weeks so stop worrying" and that was it. When I call I always something on the lines of no one really knows or feels like checking, (well did you submit the DS-260, when did you do that?....things like that)  I feel like for as long as we've been waiting they should at least know where our documents are. They're only doing their jobs but lately it has been getting very frustrating, does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey. I'm in the exact same situation. My SD is 12/06/17 and I received and email about them not receiving my ds-260 on 01/02/18... I really don't understand how some people with earlier SDs have already got a CC but I'm still waiting. Exact same situation. All we can really do is wait and pray that things will work out.

Regardless if you r hourly and not salary. they should be able to put your base salary. I work as an RN in a hospital, I have my base hourly rate, shift differential, overtime etc...they put my base hourly rate that indicate how much I would be making regardless of overtime and differential that can be changed every period.

Okay I understand I am going to ask them again to be a little more detailed as far as pay rate in employment letter..

Now you are in NVC stage, within week or 2 weeks, you should get a welcome letter with your case number and invoice number.

Meanwhile, you should gather your tax forms, begin to fill out I-864 form, employment letter, ask your spouse's copy of birth certificate, copy of your marriage certificate, Copy of police certificate

I used this for guide

Sweet.

After you get your case number and invoice number, you will choose your agent by fill out DS-261 and pay AOS fee. Then IV fee will unlock and you pay that and then DS -260 opens up. After IV fee shows paid, i would suggest to send your AOS and IV package. This is what i send

I have the Document Cover Sheet ( this one comes in your welcome letter, checklist)

Coverletter

AOS Package

In AOS Package, following i put in order

Affidavit of support Document cover sheet ( you print this from website after you pay AOS fee)

the signed form I-864 EZ

Tax transcript for 2016,2015 & 2014

W-2 from 2016,2015 & 2014

Letter of employment

Paystubs last 6 months

In IV Package

Immigrant Visa Document Cover sheet

Valid, unexpired passport biographic data page of beneficiary

Birth certificate of beneficiary

Marriage certificate

Police Certificate

2 photos of beneficiary (not necessary now but i just included)

I put all this in a UPS courier package and sent it
