Hi! How did you get to know that your case is at the DOS? ‘Cause right now I have no idea weather this is still at the USCIS or at NVC. I’m getting so confused

Got know thru usics app, and thru usicswebsite also my husband got the approval letter in the mail box.

We paid a couple of days ago the AOS $120 fee. It now shows "PAID", but when we go to our checking account, no money was taken out.

Question please:

a) Is this normal?

b) How soon after AOS fee appears "paid" will the "IV" fee be invoices?

Hi mine took 3 business days to be posted by my bank and the IV fee was available few days later.

Hello, on the ds-260 I listed my hubby's current employer under the present employment section. Under previous work info it says to provide employement info an all of his employers from the last 10 years starting with most recent. Do we repeat present employer again.

 Thanks a lot.

From the USCIS website concerning I864EZ:

You may use Form I-864EZ if ALL the following conditions apply:
1. You are the person who filed or is filing Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, for a relative being sponsored;
2. The relative you are sponsoring is the only person listed on Form I-130; and
3. The income you are using to qualify is based entirely on your salary or pension and is shown on one or more Internal
Revenue Service (IRS) Form W-2s provided by your employers or former employers

You have to meet the three condition...I did and I filed the I864EZ and did not have any issues.

Problem is I don't have any W2 as my employer is in the CZ.

I130 arrived at Nebraska Service Center - March 29, 2017

NOA1 Received April 4th

Verbal confirmation petition was approved December 26th

Approval letter sent by mail on the 26th of December - still not received (live in CZ)

NOA2 Received via email January 4th

NVC received package from USCIS on January 10th (verbally confirmed on the 18th)

Case Number & Invoice # issued on January 25th but given on the 26th.

DS261 submitted on January 29th

AOS fee paid on January 31st

IV fee paid on the 3rd of February - received the email this morning as well with the fee. Money taken out of account on the 6th.

IV fee shown as paid and DS-260 open on the 13th of February.

DS-260 submitted on the13th February

IV and AOS documents mailed on the 13th February

Scan Date February 17th.

CC February 28th :)

Interviewed scheduled on the 17th of March for April 3rd.

Interview completed and visa approved on April 3rd.

I have a question for i-1864ez form part 5 item 4 current individual annual income am i using the income i used to meet proverty guidelines or my current annual income which isn't salary base it's hourly so I would have to calculate my hourly rate plus my regular hours times 52 weeks which make up a year ?

Very important question and ppl get checklists for mixing things...so please read carefully:

Assuming you will be using your 2016 tax information

If you used 1040EZ, then the total income that you put in part 5, 6.a will be the adjusted gross income that is found in line 4 in form 1040EZ

If you used 1040A, then the total income that you put in part 5, 6.a will be the one in line 15 of form 1040A

You have no need to make any calculation as the number they are looking for is one of these numbers based on which form you used. Regardless if this number meets the poverty line or not, that is a whole different issue.

Hope that answers your question, if not, let me know if I can help.

My employment letter doesn't State the amount I make it just states when I started working until present and my status is active that's about it..I requested they put income but do to the fact it is hourly I am not salary and I work for a nursing agency I do overtime so there is no way to state an actual income it varies ..Only thing that doesn't change is my hourly rate until after 40 hours then it's time time and a half.

Hi everyone!

On November 29th 2017 I had my I-140 approved by USCIS.

Nonetheless, I just called USCIS and I heard from the electronic service that my case was approved on January 8, 2018.

How is that possible? Why did my approval date changed so drastically? Did it ever happened before to any of you?

Thank you very much

How long does it normally take to get the IV fee invoice? My payment for the AOS fee went through and has showed 'PAID' since Thursday but I still can't pay the IV fee
