We received an email saying they didn't receive our ds260 and they need that to start the review. But I called and the lady said to disregard that email. I pray this is great news that they have started on our case

They sometimes act like programmed robots to say “ It takes 11 weeks to review” for almost all info you ask about your case !

Yep I'm like ok thank you very much

They received mine 1/3 and I got my case number 1/19 so it took 2 weeks and 2 days for me. It can't hurt to call and ask! I'd say if they haven't assigned your case number yet you should definitely have it at least by the end of this week.

Thanks. Tried yesterday with no luck so will wait until tomorrow when they open as it shoul hopefully be some time today.

Sorry misunderstood your question before.

In this case, yes, you can send it in to expedite the process.

Don't you need the cover sheets of the payment included? That is what I had read from others

Hi, i've checked my case status today, and found it changed to this "Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete." The line with the AOS has desappeared, does that means i have a CC? if this is the case, how long does it takes for NVC to give an interview date? I'm going crazy here!!
