I agree too. Simple cases are done faster. I was surprised that my case completed in 4 days. Now waiting for interview to schedule

12/13/17 - NVC received our case

12/21/17 - Received Welcome letter and AOS invoice from NVC thru email,Case number and invoice number assigned

12/22/17- Submit DS-261, Paid AOS fee

12/26/17 - AOS fee confirmed by bank and status change to paid in website

12/28/17 -  Received email for DS-261 confirmation and IV Invoice

12/29/17 - Paid IV fee

01/03/18 -  IV fee status change to paid in website and DS-260 open, DS-260 submitted, AOS & IV Package mailed

01/05/18 - AOS & IV package received by NVC

01/09/18 - Scan date 

01/13/18 - Case Completed. Called NVC on 1/16/18 to confirm

01/30/18 - Called NVC to find Interview is schedule for 3/15/18

02/1/18 - Received Email from NVC for interview letter PK4 dated 01/31/18

Scan date on 1/9/18 CC on 1/13/18. On 1/16/18, i called NVC and it was confirmed case complete. I was expecting 4 to 6 weeks.

seriously your story makes me want to go up to the mountain and pray.. I’m astonished, I never knew someone can get through NVC that fast without expedite. 

You should be in Guinness book of record :D

How long is it taking from case close to get an interview slot available at Mumbai consulate these days. Any idea?

Per observing others, 1.5 to 2 months right now, So i am expecting interview in March :)

Checklist was for copy of original birth certificate for beneficiary. I had sent them copy of her English Birth certificate but they took that as translation copy so they wanted to see original.
