Wow, even my case was approved on Dec 1, and NVC hasnt received it yet!

You can request an expedite from NVC for multiple reasons, just search online and it'll give you the email for expedite and list of reasons!

Did you schedule interview for your expedite case?

You should give them a call. Trying calling at night that's when you will get a better person to talk to and willing to answer all your questions. Also when you call ask the rep to check on the ceac website for you to make sure your DS2600 is showing up on their end. I believe you should have a CC by now. My scan date was 12/21/17 and I got CC 1/19/18. Good luck.

It’s my fault for expecting the attorneys to keep doing a good job...I should have called two weeks after the NOA2. 

I still haven’t heard anything yet. The lawyers did send an inquiry email and cc’d me on it. 

I read on other threads that this has happened before but they all seem to have to wait awhile to hear back....it’s just not fair. But his entire process hasn’t been, so I shouldn’t be so surprised. 😭

Mine is Dec 1 too, and hearing that they must have lost our file. I'm distressed. And we had started callinf the NVC only 1 week after, and has been asked to wait till 6 weeks. So, your calling them wouldn't have changed anything. don't regret.

 

I don't know what should we do now. Just pray that they receive all of ours file soon.

Nothing yet, embassy is reviewing file apparently.

I will try again. I called last week and was just told they have everything and we just have to wait up to 11 weeks

Hi, we just called and got our Case number and Invoice Identification Number. But when I log into the online https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx portal, it says the case is not ready for processing. Can there be a time between assigning of those numbers and being able to process first steps? We did not get any email yet from NVC.

Yes, same thing happened to mine. Give it 24 hours and it should be ready

Yes give it couple of hours for the number to register in their system and then try back later today or tomorrow.

When did NVC receive the package from USCIS? Mine was received on the 10th and nothing yet? Maybe I will try and call again tonight.

Checking in, sent in documents on 12th Dec 2017 scan date officially 19th Dec. Hopefully the wait won't seem too long. 

Big congrats to every cc, every time I see one, my heart jumps a bit with excitement!!!! I can't wait to get mine cz I will be throwing a party for my birthday on Valentine's and fingers crossed for a CC 🎁

They received mine 1/3 and I got my case number 1/19 so it took 2 weeks and 2 days for me. It can't hurt to call and ask! I'd say if they haven't assigned your case number yet you should definitely have it at least by the end of this week.

Which is the earliest time to send in the package? I now already have case and invoice number, so all I need to wait is cover sheet and I could send all documents, or do I need to finish the process online and only after I finish DS260 I can send the documents? Is there a shortcut?
