Call USCIS and request to speak to a tier 2 officer and then ask if the petition has been forwarded to the NVC and when. If it was sent, request the tracking number so you can contact NVC so they make a research. However, be aware you might get the generic answer that it takes up to 6 weeks for the NVC but still you can get the tracking number if it was already sent.

Thank you for helping, i did called and one of the tier 2 officer told me the case haven't been sent to NVC yet by December 29,2017

He wasn't in the good mood that day, just simply said wait another 30 days and if i wish i can call them every single day, but that will not speed the processes at all,  because USCIS will determine when to send the case to NVC.

 

i will send a email to our congressmans office. The office lady told me if i didn't here anything back from the NVC within 30 days, i can contact her anytime after January 2, 2018.

I called NVC to check on where our case is in the process of review. Our scan date is 12/7 and I’m glad I called because she said she was going to put a message into the supervisor that our DS-260 is completed and to put us in line for review. She was so nice and said to call anytime to check on the status.

1 got a check list Dec 8

 

2nd SD Dec 20

Did you include just one document cover sheet while mailing out your paperwork or you had one each for AOS and civil documents? Secondly, did you include pay stub?

I included two coversheets. And yes I also included pay stubs.

Hello Guys!

 

I hope you guys can help me. I have seen some timelines where people have gotten their case nos and AOS bills and paid them in couple of days and also sent AOS and IV packages withing a week if paying fee. Can someone please explain me the process  of how it works with NVC ? I have looked at some resources but after reading that it seems it would take 1 month to complete from when you get the invoice no. So my questions are -

 

1) Once I have the case# and invoice#, when can I pay the fee ?

2) When can I send the documents once I have the case# and invoice# like send it as soon I pay the AOS fee ?

 

Please Help !!!

Call USCIS and talk to Tier 2 and ask specifically for your application shipping confirmation and ship date.

Hey there,

Once you have invoice and case number you can pay the first fee, instead of waiting to choose an agent you can call NVC and pick an agent the day the first fee goes through, then ask for the next invoice of fee, that usually takes about a week to come.

 

In the mean time you should round up all your documents like IRS papers etc and have your package along with AOS application ready to send off. 

I got delayed by a month because I didn't have my papers from IRS.
