Hi all,

How do you know your scan date? do you have to call or you can see it on NVC website?

We got our NOA2 on Dec 5 (from Nebraska), NVC receive on Jan 3 and we sent all docs/paid bills on Jan 9.

Good luck to y'all!

Hi :)

you should call the NVC and ask for it.

Good Luck :D

My husband had been divorced before and I sent the actual divorce decree with the translation and they wanted a different form from the government with the seal on it and not the actual divorce degree. I have an expedite for the interview but I am dying that this is taking soooo long. Trying to guess when the NVC will give CC. The problem for me, is my husband will start some training classes that he teaches in March, so if he doesn't come before he schedules training, he doesn't come until summer.

Please let me understand you well was it the certified true copy you sent to NVC before you got the check list, because i have divorced decree which I planned sending to them is it the new system or they just requested for it?

congrats to those approved!

to all at NVC, please call and make sure your DS-260 is actually “attached” to your mailed docs. I received an email last week saying that i was missing my DS260. When I completed it on Dec 5th! I called and they told me it was a glitch. Today I call and guess what?! This nice officer tells me that he has to add my DS260 to this spreadsheet to state it is ready to be reviewed!! had I not called, my DS260 would still be showing as not completed😢We must continue to be proactive. It sucks, because I would have already been CC this week.

This officer said that my case will now go to a supervisor. But it can take up to 11weeks! He did say my initial scan date is still valid 12/13/2017. But it just sucks, I thought I’d have a CC by now!

This has happened to quite a few people me included. If you call they will put it in for a supervisor to review to fix it and yes it’s not supposed to mess up your scan date or your position in the review but I feel like it must have since it took a week for them to fix it for me and I called about it every couple of days.

From the date it was sent to the DOS, it can take between a week to a month for NVC to receive your case. Mine took a week from the date it was sent to DOS to be received by NVC. It took another week to get a case number. Good luck

They put a request in for me then I called a couple days later and the rep said it was still put in for supervisor review. Then I called a week later and that rep put in for a new request then 2 days later it shows up their system. So clearly the first request never happened. It’s frustrating.

I know it will come. Tomorrow will be 6 weeks. Just want to give my husband some good news and then plan for the interview. Plus I get to see him again then so just can’t wait.
