Hey! Same happened for us, expedite was approved but only on the basis that NVC looked over and approved our documents first. Our case was approved and sent to Islamabad within 3 days but no update from embassy. I wonder if we have to call them or go online and schedule our own interview?

It means case completed. Also it will be helpful to others if you can create a timeline.

Ok you have to pay the fees and send the IV package and the DS260 and the you will get a SD and then it took them in my case 6 weeks to get a CC regarding the interview it depends on the embassy how busy it is so my I got my CC in Jan 8th but still I didn’t get the email or interview scheduled it could take a few months to get so I’m patiently waiting for it

Am surprised we didn't find each other and we both filled on April. Finally glad to see someone on the same boat. I got an rfe late September so my case was delayed a bit. Dad sent in documents on 12th Jan, hopeful to get an SD this week. I have gone through DNA already, my contact info. Is on the website incase you'd like to keep in touch.

Lovely. Glad to meet you too, too bad we didn't find each other at the most initial stage when we needed each other so badly. Best wishes in advance for your interview. Keep us updated how your interview goes when you get there. Also, kindly edit your timeline coz you seem to have left out some important details like approval date for your petition and it's also a bit confusing becasue you have filled out the entry to us part. Does that mean you Are you in the us already?

This will be helpful in future to other vj members.

We couldn't get hold of anyone at the embassy today, we just wanted to call and find out what happens next, but from what I gather we can call to schedule interview, I'm guessing once they recieve our documents? Where did you get an update that your documents had been sent? I feel like I've been able to be so prepared for all the other parts of this process (except the hideous waiting) but this part with the expedite is so new to me! Keeping fingers crossed that we can get through quickly as husbands visa here expires mid Feb so we're really pushing it for time! Lets keep in touch, good luck for a speedy embassy process!

My status on NVC changed from CC to review in process so I called them to see what happened and that's when I was told that my file had been sent to the Embassy because of my expedite and that embassy will contact me.

 

But i winder if we should call embassy instead? Not sure. But we asked for expedite through senator so they're handling it all and already emailed embassy about interview.

 

Hopefully you guys get an interview soon!!!! Praying my hubby is here before end of January if possible, I saw Islamabad has dates available for interview for this week and next.
