My case was approved on December 16, 2017 from USCIS but NVC still hasn't received my case yet...

 
How long after approval do they usually receive it and assign a case number? How will I find out?

It's 6 weeks for me since the approval and nothing yet

Call USCIS and request your case file be sent to NVC.

NVC already have your email. remember i130 you filled? when uscis send your approved petition  to nvc they have already your email address if you wrote one in i130. but you can ask anything through email through AskNvc. nvc reply within four working days

We did that yesterday and the lady on the phone told us we should press 5 which was surprising. Anyway she told us there is no CN yet but she told us oh you are one of the first cases to go through the electronic filing CEAC. She said we should visit the official page and read how our case will be processed. 

I am wondering now how did she know (without a case number) that we are gonna be part of CEAC since that is only done by just a few countries , and there is a slight chance that I have to go through the US Embassy in Albania, since we got married there. I’m currently living in Germany. So maybe she already had a case number ?!??

Congrats to all of you with a CC.  Do we send bona fide proof to the NVC (like photos and flight boarding cards etc ) or do we take them at the interview with us. I just had this panic attack thinking I have to send that too and i'm not preparing it yet. So I just wanted to make sure again. I know I too think I'm going crazy.

No. Proof of relationship is something you don’t send to NVC, you are just sending things from the list they sent you, nothing extra. On the interview you are bringing photos, anything you can think of. Like you can bring everything you sent to uscis and nvc , just add some recent pics if you have. Good luck❣️

You can side load at the NVC if you want too. I did but Pakistan is a high risk country so I added more evidence.

It usually takes 10 - 14 business days for NVC to receive if there's no issue. However keep calling them to check if they have received it. They usually assign case number 2-3 business days after your case has been received.

My I130 was approved on 11/21/17 and I got an update on 1/5/18 my USCIS app that they sent my case to Department of State.  I called NVC yesterday and they haven't received it yet but she told me to check back on Friday.  After my 6th week of waiting for my case to get to NVC I called USCIS and she told me that it could take up to 90 days for them to send the approval to NVC.   But the day after I spoke to her I received and update on the USCIS.  So it took 6 weeks for them to send it to NVC.
