quick question. With the current government shutdown... are we affected by this? particularly those waiting for interview schedule?

Omg dont mention it please. Its scary but i read the history. Mostly shutdown in USA are no longer than 18 days.

Received phone call from our attorney yesterday afternoon. Package ready for pick-up (They conveniently only put their e-mail address to be notified) 

 

Picked-up this morning (FYI our handout referring to paying Immigration Fee did not have numbers filled in...they were left black)

Used the VISA page to get numbers...

 

Fee Paid :-) Will be going to get the entry stamp later this afternoon

Hello guys I’m here because y’all have gotten Case complete from NVC so I need help.

 I just called NVC .. after speaking with the rep, she asked if I submitted my DS261 and got a confirmation, I said yes and she replied that she'll have it sent to the supervisor review to check and that was all ..could someone explain what this means? And hope it doesn't mean I get a new scan date ? My scan date is Dec 29.. I'm so depressed, please I need answers. Thank You !

i booked my flight today to travel to Pakistan to be with my wife during her interview .. 4 trips to Pakistan and 1 trip to Thailand for our honeymoon in the last 16 Months ... my manager at work hates me ...
