It generally depends on the country/consulate where the interview letters are coming from, mine (Kingston, Jamaica) says no later than 7 – 10 days prior to interview date on the "Packet 4 Checklist" letter and on the "Medical Instructions" letter it says at least 10 days prior to the date of your visa interview.

Click here and locate the link to the city you will be interviewed and read up on the medical instructions. 

 

By the way all this information is properly outlined on the official NVC site Prepare for the Interview. All you need to do is read and read again 2 more times :)

Yeah i dont know when nvc gonna schedule our interview. Well always hope for the best. I really pray that we get our interview date in February because my police certificate is going to expire in first week of march lol

You dont need police certificates for Pakistan

For safe side i got it and send it to nvc. So is it ok if i have send it to nvc and now will not show it in interview

NVC probably tossed it away in trash can and no you do not need it for interview also

Timeline

I saw in the NVC filers of Jan that somebody (Pakistan) recieved an email that they may have to wait up to 3 months before getting an interview, is this true? I thought Spousal visa got first visa interviews? Or does it go by PD?

Timeline

I just recieved an update that our file is in transit and that we should have recieved an email about our interview. Tried calling but their lines are too busy, will try again but not sure how they scheduled our interview if it was an expedited case. 

 

Fingers crossed we hear something good!!
