I had to schedule the interview myself... I got a email from the embassy

I am a bit sad, I did not get my interview date yet. My embassy is in Rio de Janeiro,  any of you have experience with Rio Embassy.

I receive the email where NVC says they are waiting the date on December 5th...

My God the waiting is killing me...

Interview was today and got approved !! 

Finally after almost a full year this is over !!!

It was really quick, About 2 hours, most of which is just sitting and waiting, interview itself was about 5 minutes.

They asked how we met, where we live, where we work and where we going to stay in the U.S as we both live together abroad.

They took the passport and said all good and i'm approved and that i will receive the passport back with a courier within 2 weeks.

Did you have any problems with domicile since you both live abroad? How did you meet up to the criteria?

No, my wife was born and lived most her life in the U.S, she is only away for about 4 years now.

She still maintains bank account, car insurance and registration, etc.
