Hi, so we had our noa2 nov 22. We are still waiting for the NVC to receive the petition etc. We have London as our consulate . Does anyone have a good time frame as to when you think all this will be over? Like should I expect an interview in feb / March / April etc. I have all the documents needed for the next round. Just another question , as I will providing the embassy with the latest tax declarations and pay stubs and bank statements . As for the bank statements do they need to be of a certain date frame ? And we tried to get the transcripts for the tax but the system isn’t working so I have the large 1,000 paper tax edition! But don’t know what part they will need from it any help would be great! Happy 2018 everyone !

Here are some options.

Check the immigration timelines for people from London.

Check the threads for other people who filed the same month as you in the K1 sub forum

Check the regional forum

I've always gotten them by phone, try that and see if it works.

Check the November NVC thread on this forum. November 8th are getting to NVC as of yesterday. Might just be another week or two for Nov 22 to start getting there. After that it all depends on your embassy.

I can never find the forums , only this one lol

I just got my tax transcripts about a week ago. I requested the past 3 years online. The system that lets you print them out instantly is down, but if you select the option where they mail them to you you will have them in a week. I didn't even expect them that fast. all you need is the summary, it shows all the relevant information.

Hi Andy.

We received our NAO2 on 1st December.

The advice I received on this forum was to give it about a week for our documents to get to the NVC and then phone each day and ask for the case number (which is what we need to make our appointments for medical and embassy). However we have had no joy. We know from comments made by the NVC staff that they have our paperwork but a case number hasn't been assigned. They even make the comment that the first we'll see of it is when the embassy sends me (I'm the UK based beneficiary) gets the info through the post. However we know this isn't true and some people have got their case number as quickly as 2/3 weeks after they got their NAO2, so it's very frustrating. We are no longer calling every day for fear of annoying them (you end up talking to the same few people). Based on people's time lines, some are taking 2 months to get their case number. From that point on it does seem quite quick to get your appointments in London - approx 3 weeks.

All of the above is based on the experience of very recent UK filers so is directly relevant to us.

So, worst case scenario I am expecting

NVC number received end of Jan

Medical / interview end of Feb

Fly out 2 weeks after appointments (thats to give my passport time to come, I can always move my flight if it hasn't arrived).

My dream of flying out on Valentines Day has long since vanished !

We are still going to try phoning every couple of days just on the off chance luck falls on our side !

All the best
