Hello All,

I have started the N400 online application process to be a US Citizen and I am nearly done with the online form, however at the end I am getting stuck at submitting the evidences required - Green Card, Marriage Certificate etc. since for some reason, I just can't upload the PDF files of the documents on the online application's "evidence" tab. I have been trying since the past 2 days and just can't seem to get through, it just says "0% uploaded". The file sizes are about 400 KB, much less than the file size limit of 6 MB, also USCIS mentioned that they can accept PDF copies, however for some reason, these documents are being blocked from being uploaded.

Any suggestions as to how to go around this issue? If this is unsolvable, the only option left is to go for the paper option, which I want to avoid since it will take more time from my end as well as USCIS's end to process the documents. Please help!!!

I had the same situation. What you might consider doing is saving the in the Reduced File Size PDF Setting. See if that works. It did for me.

Otherwise,  the online process was excellent and fast

I tried PDF copies, reduced size PDF copies, JPG copies, tried re-scanning them to make new PDF copies, tried from different browsers, it just doesn't seem to work for some reason! I guess my only option left is to file a paper version of the form...thank you for all your suggestions anyways...online application would have been faster but I guess it's not meant to be!

I know this is a late reply, but I had the same issue, NO PDF would upload properly. I finally switched from Firefox to Safari on my Mac and then all the PDFs uploaded! Hope that helps...
