Hi, how was your interview on feb 7, why the administrative wait?

@Chalanero21 his 2nd interview on feb 7 all they asked him was about his tattoo .  Thats all they asked.

And last week they called him that he needs to do his medical exams again and take passport pictures again. As soon as possible.

No interview yet we are still waiting.

How long has it been since your case with NVC was completed? I see that Tegucigalpa is a little behind , I would like to have an idea to plan a trip. I hope its sooner but seems it is taking months. Thanks

At nvc, is frustrating 😥 i wish they give more information, like the uscis. I hope we get one in the next round, our dates are very close.

This is so frustrating, we are still waiting for a CC and by the looks of it we still have to wait another 5 months for an interview. Does anybody have any idea how they schedule the interviews, is it by priority date or by CC date? I have seen people with CC from January get their interviews till May-June but I know someone whose priority date became current in February and got her interview for March. I guess all we can do is hope for things to speed up a bit. Wish you all the best.

Hi, if your case is IR1/CR1 the priority date doesn't matter. We got case completed about a month after sending the documents. We received an email basically saying that all the documents were good and they didn't need more, that now we were just waitin for a interview appointment. We been waiting for 3 months as of today. If you have to go to Honduras for the interview, it might be a 3 months wait or longer.

Please is a good help to see timelines, if you can it will be helpful to see your timeline if your case was completed as you mentioned, Looking at your current timeline your case was received on 2/26 and you got a case number in only 4 weeks, is your case IR (that is on your timeline). Maybe is a mistake in your time or NVC really does not have an order when they assign case number , or maybe they made a mistake because you have been waiting since 2016 and they gave you a case number faster than most people to make it up for your wait. If your timeline is correct lucky you. In a way but in a long run you have been on process since 2016 good luck the rest of the way.

GabyC is correct priority date does not matter as far as interview scheduling goes, case completed varies by NVC work load, but only by few days or few weeks if you notice your case was received by NVC on 03/01 and got your case number on 5/8 that is 9 weeks, I waited about 12 weeks, now my case was completed in about 10 days. You have been waiting about 17 days be patient it will come soon now it does not hurt to keep cheeking for messages on CEAC website that you might be missing something or something is not submitted properly. See it depends of what is going on and how much work they have, some get lucky some wait more in different stages of the process. They have been having waves of Honduras applicants coming to NVC with cases, just to give you an idea the day that I got my case number 70 other cases from TGG got their number also. Some people probably were ready some probably have not even paid the fees.

There is one thing that I dont understand and is F type visas why do they get interview date way faster than IR or CR visas ( I would say for weeding date uuu) In my opinion is unfair to people that have actually got married and actually have even small children, people that probably have been separated for years versus the couple of boyfriend and girlfriend whom just meet at a online dating website and now they want to get married on the us (not saying that that is everyone's case on F visas but is a common thing) Not trying to offend no body I am just sharing my frustration that the system is kind of unfair in that part of the proceeds as far of interview go. I dont thing there has been ever a big wait for an interview before, I believe is the load of work that NVC and Embassy has due the amount of applications.
