Question regarding scheduling interview, have MNL #

Hello, we just got our MNL#, and I'm wondering if we can go ahead and do the medical and/or schedule interview before it says "ready" on CEAC. I always thought NVC status on CEAC had to said "ready" but reading this page http://dennyeyberg.wixsite.com/filipino-am-visa/scheduling-the-interview doesn't seem to mention that being a requirement. What can we do now? Or are we free to do everything now?

Yes you can pay your fees, complete the DS-160 and then schedule your interview (in that order). There  is a new change recently that requires that you complete the DS-160 prior to scheduling your appointment. 

 

Email NVC to get a hard copy of your MNL# and print off 3 copies two for SLEC and one for USEM at your interview.

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview

Mailed I-751 Dec 16, 2015 Submitted ROC (removal of conditions)

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

Like Greenbaum said, once you have the MNL # you can go a head and begin scheduling everything. By the time you get stuff done the embassy should have received the packet from NVC.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

Yup you are good to go once you have your MNL# ... schedule your interview 3-5 weeks out to make sure your case file is at USEM from NVC .    

St. Luke's is walk-in, first come, first served.   You can complete the medical and interview at the embassy within the same week should you desire.
