I'm working through Rapid Visa for my Marriage Visa. I submitted to Rapid Visa my Petition, and they said they need my Philippine statistic authority marriage certificate.... since I had submitted only the municipal copy of my Marriage certificate.

Problem is, my wife tells me that it might take SIX MONTHS for them to get it processed. WHAT THE HECK!? I am getting so impatient with this process. I don't want to wait another 2 freaking months just to submit this paperwork. Why can't they just accept the municipal copy of the marriage certificate? Anyone have this issue before? Anyone know if htere is a way to force the PSA to speed up the process with the marriage cert? How long does it usually take for a marriage certificate to be registered with the PSA?

How do I check to see if my marriage is registered with the PSA ?

Have you checked the PSA online portal?  It says 3 to 5 days

The PSA portal allows me to request marriage certificate, but it doesn't seem to confirm whether the document exists or not before paying for it. So for all I know, there is no marriage certificate registered there yet... and I don't want to pay $20 just to find out they haven't received it. Is there a way to verify they have it? Would it be better to have it mailed to someone in the Philippines, have them scan it... so we can send  the copy, and then have it mailed to my wife so she has it for her interview? Or should I have it mailed to me in the United States?

My wife is in Thailand, though she is from the Philippines, and we got married in the Philippines. sh ewill also be having her interview in the Bangkok Embassy.

What else are you going to do.  $20 is cheaper than a flight

Your wife knows whether the PSA marriage certificate was ever requested.  You can file without it and then submit it when requested.  Often you don't need to submit it until the NVC stage, though I did see a case recently where an RFE was issued for it by USCIS.  That may have been based on specific circumstances.

Well if you just got married, the municipal or city registrar/registry office will endorse it to PSA. Normally this process takes up to six months.

I got married around mid August and I got my PSA marriage certificate after two or three weeks. Just tell your wife's local civil registrar/registry office to endorse to PSA asap

Just wondering if you get this sorted out? Since it’s been a month already. My question is when you got married? There’s a process called “advance endorsement” if you recently got married it’s possible you can have your marriage certificate in 2 weeks time.  Your Wife just need to go to the civil registrar and ask them for advance endorsement of your marriage certificate to PSA then they’ll give her some documents to send to PSA.

Yes that is your NOA1

As far as the marriage certificate I also got A RFE for that when I was doing my wife visa.

Looking at others timeline  at the time, I notice  some others also got The same RFE. All the petitions were sent to the Nebraska service center.

When I order me and my wife marriage certificate  I got 2, one for me and one for my wife ,that way when I needed a copy to send to the NVC  Icould make a copy at home on my printer

and my wife had an original one to take to the interview
