I have a doctor's appointment coming up in just under 2 hours, and with a hopeful NOA2 potentially in January, I was hoping I could kill a few birds with one stone, so to speak.
I'm visiting for another reason, in that I've been nauseous pretty much every day for the past month.

BUT, since I'm heading there, I was wondering if I could take a list of the shots i need and get them all done, as well as a patient summary to be taken to Knightsbridge. That's all I need from them, right?

Thank you! <3

You can get all your shots done, yeah, save some money and do it with your doctor and get records of it. But your regular doctor does not count as your medical because your medical needs to be done by a specific doctor authorized by the American embassy. Also, don’t get your medical done too early. It has an expiration date. You can’t even schedule your medical until you get the number from NVC anyways. If you are expecting noa2 in January, expect it to be February or longer. Things are way too slow at USCIS. Even for us with noa2s already have been waiting months for NVC number. Get your vaccinations done and start gathering interview paperwork,, but other than that sit back and wait the long wait.

I know I need to get the medical done at Knightsbridge in London, which is why i included it in the original post. I was just wondering if I could get all shots done, and what exactly I need to ask for from them so that i have it ready to take to my medical examination with me in London. I hear "Patient Summary" thrown around a lot, but I'm not sure if that's the actual name of the document I need to get from the doctor's office.

Yup, I would suggest getting all your shots done prior to going to knightsbridge as it will save you a good bit of money! :) You can ask them for your patient summary as well, mine included personal info (name, DOB, weight, height etc.), immunisation record, medications I was taking and the last 2 years of medical history (visits to the doctor). I wrote them a list of everything I wanted to be included on the patient summary and they just created it for me on the spot at reception and printed it out :)
