I just got off the phone with USCIS and they informed me that for some reason California and Vermont have been hit with an over whelming amount of visa requests. They stated to me that they are backed up and running roughly 45 days behind per app.

Just wanted to let everyone know.

Regards,

Excuses? Well, it figures. Thanks for passing that on, Bucur.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I concur. I am still trying to get the NOA1, thus my call in to them. I live here in California and I drive down the street and see people (illegal immigrants) with 5 kids, no car, no job and living off the state...but enjoying there stay here in sunny California, then I go home and get dis-appointed because the process (legal) to get my "WIFE" here takes so long and is stressfully with fingers crossed the whole time. Where is the happy medium...

Sorry had to get that out, it's been bothering me for some time.

Bucur,

It bothers us all. Those who say it does not bother them have never felt real pain or anger.

It really is a pain. And also what bothers me is people who have H-1 work visas can bring their respective spouses very quickly to US like in a very few days. But us, who are the citizens of this country have to wait for ever. Thsi really annoys me.

This is right, I was thinking the same thing but I don't others to think that I'm discriminating those people with no legal papers. But this is not fear for all of us, and I wish we could do something about this, because at least we are trying to do the right thing with our family by bringing them into the USA with legal papers. I'm in so much pain that sometimes I think I'm not going to be able to handle this long waiting time. I been waiting for NOA2 for 10 months.

My husband thinks the same. He is raging mad about this scene. Illegal aliens enjoying life in the USA, whilst USC suffering from separation to their love ones.

I don't really think this should effect us though right? Aren't they supposedly departmentalized so there's a dedicated k1/k3 department?
