Has anyone else read the new info?

It states in there that interviews can’t be booked prior to 4 weeks after NVC issues your number?

I can’t post screenshots for some reason but I did read it in there

I don't think that's anything official. You could update that page. Some of it's correct and some isn't.

I was very concerned about the bit of only being able to book your embassy appointment 4 weeks from nvc number.

as in, we must now wait 4 weeks to book the interview even if there are earlier slots open?

I didn't see that particular piece of info. That page was updated by me yesterday, but only to put in the upcoming new address of the embassy. I also updated the cost of the medical which said £250. And I noticed the map now posted has the wrong location for the medical. That mapped location is only used rarely when the Marylebone location is not available.

For picking an interview, you can do so as soon as the system lets you in. Once in, you see what is open. It varies. There is no stated number of weeks you must wait after NVC number, but keep in mind you need all your documents and a medical exam before your interview. And you need police certificate, shot record, and health summary prior to medical. So four weeks could easily pass before many people would have their ducks in a row to be ready to pick an interview.

We are good to go! Documents ready and just waiting for our case number from NVC.

His last day of service is Jan 15th so we’re starting to feel very overwhelmed and anxious about him not gaving housing and an income.

Thanks for all your help. You’ve been guiding me through this since the get go and it’s very appreciated.

@Wuozopo and @AZSunshine78

We received our NAO2 in the post yesterday, dated 9th Jan 17.

What docs ado I now need to get together, as I don’t want to get them too early ...

doctor letter

vaccinations / and record

Police check

paperwork for affidavit of support

completing that DS160 (or whatever it’s called) online

is it too early knowing it could be another 2.5 months for it to me moved to NVC

Does anyone know what we need if my fiancé is self employed?

We also have a sponsor, just in case as he claims everything back, and unsure if that makes him under the threshold. I don’t understand US tax.
