I am the US petitioner (we are awaiting NVC receipt of out NOA2). Does the Rio Embassy allow the petitioner to sit with the Brazilian beneficiary during the interview? She gets nervous easily and I simply wanted to attend to give her peace.

Good evening, yes, you can go with your girlfriend for the interview, but keep in mind that the interview is for the beneficiary, if you go to the interview will help her, think about this possibility yes, I wish you luck and happy new year :)  ( I do not know what the process was like before)

Thank you everyone. I will, indeed, be going. We will bring our daughters also. All for special life memories and to support her. I hope they allow all of us into the embassy, but if not its OK. She will know we are near.
