Hi all,

I'm calling on you for a bit of help. I'm trying to ship one medium box of fragile items (too much for my suitcases) using form 3299. I can't seem to find a company who know what they're talking about when it comes to accepting the form and the copy of the passport/K1 visa.

Did anyone else use the form successfully with a UK company? I'm happy to drive to a location to drop off and I leave on Thursday.

Thanks!

What are your questions about the form?

We shipped boxes with a UK company to the US. I wouldn't recommend the specific company we used because they were dishonest, disorganized, and 9 months later we are still waiting on an insurance claim for a lost box.

That being said, we had to fill out that form with the goods and how we filled out the form wasn't the reason for the lost box so I believe we filled it out properly :)

I could try to answer specific questions. Though my wife was a K-3 visa so there may be some differences. I'm pretty sure though you would still say you are "Emigrating to the US" when it asks, despite not coming as an automatic permanent resident.
