Hello evrybody, we got married on march 15 2017 in Morocco and we started aplying for CR1 in April 26 April. We got the first message from USCIS on 8 may saying that they recieved our case and they are processing. It has been moving so slow these two last months, when i visit the official USCIS's website, until i discovered this amazing website that shows more informations through other people's experience and also the website is able to give me an estimation of our I-130 adjudicating as of  (between 10 february to 22 february). My questions is, can i depend of this estimation ?

After the I-130 how long will the NVC take ?

Yes, the estimation in this site is based on people updating their timeline here. It comes closer to accurate but keep in mind it is estimate because each case is different. I guess yours went to nebraska, so you looking 9 months from your priority date.

At NVC, it takes appro 6-9 weeks to case complete after they scan your documents.

It's only an estimate based on what other users have experienced. Processing could slow down further (or speed up) by the time your case is reached, or your case could just be handled earlier or later than estimated.

The estimate is a good tool for what to expect, but I would never "depend" on an estimate when it comes to immigration.

Thank you very much for ur quick response ! I would like to know if they also take in concideration the duration that my wife stayed with me in Morocco ?

It won't directly speed up the process, but is good evidence of a bona fide marriage so an RFE for that is less likely (as well as just helping with showing a bona fide marriage for the embassy interview).

That's good thank you friend. She came on 2 february 2017 and she's living next month 9 junuary 2018 so it's one year spent in Morocco. She has a regular salary that she get from the military because she is veteran so for the sponsoring will be able to present this incomtax as a proof to the NVC ? Because she didnt work during this year.

The income earned from the military will be fine to include on the I-864 for NVC (and the interview).

you are in Nebraska the slowest office / sorry to say

mine was in that office 9 months and then transferred to Missouri for faster!!!!!! processing for another 5 months

if this is 1st applicaition i hope you have had plenty of face time or you may be denied

i made 5 visits all 1 to 3 months long before approval

at interview make sure moroccan knows every little thing about the USC (even stupid things)

if age difference be prepared for hard interview

have plans for future in the US like what kind of job or studying the moroccan will do

if woman is out of child bearing age,  be prepared for difficult questions

have plenty of face time (in morocco ) to show real relationship

take the interview very serious as that embassy does / do not smile or try to joke / let them do it but not the moroccan

to the moroccan: when asked a question,  answer quickly with short responses / trying to answer with long answers makes them think you are making a story up as you go along

good luck

Thank you so much Jeanne. But my wife came on 2 february 2017 and she's leaving in 9 junuary 2018, so it's one year together in Morocco and she came with her son (5 years old) which is my son now + a lot of memories and pics of many occasions and traveling together with family. So i hope God make it easy for me to join her quickly to US because it's very hard to be far away from each other
