POE Providence, RI?

Has anyone used TF Green airport as a POE?  My fiancé is coming from Egypt, but if he gets a flight with a stop in Frankfurt and one in Canada, he can arrive in Rhode Island.  That is so much easier for my family.  It just isn’t a huge airport that gets tons of international flights.  Just mainly from Canada, Ireland, Cape Verde and the Caribbean.  I can imagine that parking and traffic in Boston or Philadelphia would be horrible.  Do people absolutely have to go to a huge international airport with a K1 visa?

With a stop in Canada, his POE is likely to be there instead of TF Green. Look up pre-clearance.

Really?  Even if it is to go from one gate to another and never leaving the airport?  That’s stupid.  How can your US POE be in Canada?

His POE will be in Canada. US flights from Canada always have POE in Canada before boarding the flight. That’s just how the rules are. It’s so much easier that. I think every international flight should be that way. POE right before boarding that way only people who are cleared to enter board. Makes it so much and makes so much more sense.

Did you end up using PVD? How was the experience?  My fiancé and I are considering it as well
