Administrative processing/ updates

I've  been in administrative processing since July 2017 updsted on 9/11, 11/21, 11/26, 11/29, what does all of this mean? I have called the embassy, the consulate and knowone can give you any real answers. Are there any real time lines for immigrant visa's or are you just hanging in the clouds somewhere, very frustrating, confusing all of the above.

Unfortunately, you are right. No one is going to give you any real answers, and you have no idea how long it will take. Basically, you just have to wait until they tell you it's over. On a brighter note, every time your case is updated in the system it means that someone has opened your file, and if you have multiple updates at the end of November it *might* mean that they are making progress with your case.

You can also try to do inquiry through your local congressman.I am not saying that he or she can resolve your issue but you might get a better explanation through them
