Unfortunately, that doesn't count.

You guys have to meet in person. That's one of the requirements should you decide to go the K1 route.

Unless you can show reason why you can't meet in person.   Isn't this rule still in effect?

I know one person who couldn't fly due to a medical issue and they were approved for a K1.    This is the only case I am aware of.

How much money have you sent your love interest?

The exception to meeting in person is extremely difficult to get, have to show that neither can travel to meet up. They have had people drive to Mexico or Canada or get a cruise if they can’t fly. The religious exemption is also strict in that they have to prove that they can’t even meet with a chaperone present.

They would have had to show that she couldn’t get a tourist visa to come see him and/or that he couldn’t travel to Mexico or Canada.

It can be done but isn’t easy and no indication that it is needed here.

You have so far given 1/3 of the average yearly income in the Philippines to her.

Did you you not see how many other guys are on her Facebook friends list? Wonder if they are sending her money as well.
