My wife recently got her medical appointment done in rele clinic in Mumbai. When we collected the report, we were told and there is a stamp on the XRay CD that it should not be carried into mumbai consulate during the interview appointment, but only the sealed envelope. I am confused if my wife can take the Xray CD with her during the interview or not? Can anyone share their experience?

The CD is a part of your migrating packet so you take it with you for POE to US.  Don't pack it in your checked luggage.   Not needed for interview, they already have the results in another format.
