SSI which I believe is a US based call center had a business on the top floor and I think most if not all was working there when the fire started and they are the lion share of the dead.

Why in fire suppression sprinklers didn't work is a big question for me.  I am reading a criminal probe will now be open.  In my opinion there will be some charges and jail time for some

You can bet there will be charges and jail time for sure. The only problem is the courts will settle everything when my baby turns 18 because of how slow they are.

We go to this mall alot whenever we are in Davao because it is close to where my BIL lives, so we go here alot.

Being in Davao. The people of Davao really took this incident hard, including myself. It killed 38 people. One of those is a dear friend of one of my friends. I felt compassion on one husband who lost his wife of only 6 months. Anyway, for me the fire seems suspicious. But that is just me.

That was a cheap mall to buy things. Everything was cheaper there than SM City. Anyway, there was a news report about a month prior of the mall execs discussing plans to renovate NCCC mall Davao.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

I think this mall was bombed a few years ago also, along with Gmall off JP Luarel Street.

No charges as of yet have been filed, though I have heard several top ranked Davao officials such as the fire chief have been relieved of their position. I believe the fire is still under investigation.

Wednesday, January 10, 2018 By JULIET C. REVITA

Fire Senior Superintendent Jerry Candido, spokesperson of the Inter-Agency Anti-Arson Task Force, said they have already discovered in the determination phase the cause and origin of the fire and they are currently collecting all documents to determine as well the liable persons for the fire. He added that they already have the evidences against the eight personnel on their accountabilities in the fire incident.

Nice find, I really feel like it is arson, and I am sure that will come out in due time. Also glad that Davao is taking actions against those who are corrupt.
