Amount of face time

My fiance and I had a total of 6 visits so far. The first 4 visits were for 4 to 5 days each, 5th visit for one week, and 6th visit for one month. I'm planning on visiting him again in March for 2 weeks. Should we wait until after March to file or is the number of visits we had enough? We kinda don't want to wait, but I ask because I'm not sure how hard the embassy in Bolivia is, especially since he is Egyptian. We are both the same age, both college educated, no criminal background.

As much face time as possible is a great thing, but if you are filing for a K1, you already meet the requirements so far (assuming the visits were in the last two years).  

 

I would file now.

Don't let people scare you about the fact that he is Egyptian.  My fiancé is Egyptian too.  That is not anyone's fault.  When I was in 10th grade, I applied to be an exchange student.  I wanted to go to France, Switzerland or England.  Back then I really wanted to get a year away from my household because my mother and I didn't get along.  When the exchange program selected me to go to Egypt, I really wasn't that excited about it.  I decided to go because I was afraid that if I refused to they would tell me that was my only choice and I could not go anywhere.  So, I went to Egypt.  I was a bit scared because even back then there were negative stereotypes about Muslims and Middle Eastern people.  I'm so glad that I went!  When I went to school, I met a boy--just like girls meet boys in France, Switzerland or England.  We have always loved each other.  That was in 1989.  We were not always in touch, but the fact that the minute I found him on Facebook again (before sending him the friend request) I knew I would marry him means something.  I went back to Egypt after so many years to just see him again.  I had actually wanted to see him 19 years earlier, but that is another story.  Some people are just meant to love one another.  People talk about citizens of MENA countries being turned down for visas.  Yes, that happens.  But don't think it will happen just because your fiancé is Egyptian.  Love is love no matter what nationality you are and no matter where you meet.  If you have a true relationship, stay strong.  Fill out your paperwork carefully with the help of the people on this blog.  Just be yourselves.  You've got to live your lives for yourselves and not for immigration.  You will be fine.  You'll get the visa eventually.  File it sooner rather than later, though.  Then live daily life and try to not think about it.  It's really hard to not think about it.  I wish I could stop.  I always worry in the back of my mind too but mostly about how long it will take not about whether or not we will be approved.  Have faith, mail it out and you will be fine.  Love each other and be happy.  That is what this whole process is about.  Good luck and God bless.

For petition approval by the USCIS, the USC could arrive, walk through the entry doors, meet the alien , take a few snaps (if you want), and leave.  The requirement for the petition has been met.

 

Visa approval  by the Embassy will require evidence of continuing relationship which is a totally different standard

Also, make sure to keep all your airline/boarding passes, immigration passport stamps, receipts of hotel stays together, etc.  

And personally, I would make sure to take pictures together with recognizable landmarks of the city you are meeting - to correspond with the airlines/boarding passes and immigration passport stamps.

Giving the USCIS a well laid out time-line of your relationship and quality supporting evidence will reduce the chance of receiving an RFE.

USCIS doesn't give a hoot about your relationship, that has nothing to do with the approval of the I-129F nor will you ever receive an RFE for relationship evidence.  Ongoing relationship is an embassy standard.

I stand by the advice I gave above, as it is stated on the K1 Visa guide page verbatim when putting together your I-129F: 

"Use as many of these items are possible. There is no minimum, but the more you can provide the less likely you are that you will receive an RFE. Additionally, please note that providing proof of your ongoing and genuine relationship in this package may benefit you by allowing the consulate to have access to this information prior to them formally contacting the non US Citizen fiance. Many high risk consulates approach cases with a skeptical eye and providing this information early on in the original I-129F package will help them in their preliminary review of your case."

Anyone is welcome NOT to follow the advice of the guides here on VJ.  That is up to you.  

My wife and I have followed the guides provided, and have had no issue receiving her K1 Visa, SS#, AED, AP, and now waiting for AOS.
