I just mailed my completed I-129F to the Dallas, Texas location on December 14th. I was wondering why I didn't get an email acknowledgement that it had been received. Or do they only acknowledge it when they process it? I'm a U.S. citizen and my fiance resides in Jamaica.

Hi, It may take a little while. December 14 seems a little early to worry mine took a few days but It is the holiday season just hang in there. But also did you fill in the g-1145 form? The alert will be sent to the sponsor. Via text and or email. (Check junk mail aswell)

Yes I did include a G-1145 form as well. Would you happen to know if when they receive it they just acknowledge it at that time or do they only acknowledge it after they process it? I also notice they didn't transfer the application fee yet either.

It takes 10-15 days, roughly, to send you a text and email that they received it. Around that same time you will notice the fees deducted from your account. It's been less than a week since you sent it. Relax, this is a long/slow process so patience is a must.

It’s gonna take a while for you to hear from them now especially with the holiday season. You’ll receive a notice in the mail saying they have received your petition and they will process it and inform you. NOA1 was coming after a few days, but now it’s taking forever as per what some VJ recent filers have mentioned.  NOA2 is taking about 6 months now if you don’t get RFEs. Even if you do fill out the email and text form, you don’t always get one. USCIS isn’t very reliable. Just sit back and wait, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.

Still haven't gotten an email or NOA 1 in the mail however they took their $535 out of my checking account on December 27th. I would have thought I would have at least gotten an email when they took the funds. :(

Don't count on it!  I gave them 2 emails and two phone numbers and never heard anything from USCIS electronically.   They will send you a letter in a couple weeks.

But as was said above....don't let this bother you! I don't want to be a downer......but trust us its going to get much worse.  just the way things are going right now.   I haven't heard a word form them in over 6 months, so you get used to it after a while;)

Waiting  game is for really, so keep yourself  positive  and patient. Everything  will get to end. All the best.

I think  everything  has been  slowed down  during  Christmas  holidays, I hope you will hear from  them  from  Jan 2nd 2018. My fiance got  ours  in 7 working  days back in July. We are June 29th  filers.

Oh thats great Glad you got it.  I mailed our packet 11/30/17 and they sent an email saying it was received 12/4/17.  The notice said if I didn't get the hard copy notice by 1/3/18 I should call the 800 number.  I did that and an inquiry was open.  I received the notice shortly after.  My fiance is also a Jamaican! Good Luck!!!!
