I recently sent in my i-130 to petition my spouse she should be going to the us consulate in cuidad juarez and she will also be applying for the waiver cause she came in the country without inspection.  "unlawfully" but when i got my i-797 approval notice it states that i had requested that or she was to adjust her status here in the U.S.  Which i looked over the application various times and that is not what was sent in it was for her to go to cuidad juarez cause she does not qualify to adjust status here.   MY question is how do i get this taken care of.  I called uscis and they said to fill out i-824 but in those instructions it states not to fill out that form to correct and error.  I called again and was told to make and infopass appointment.  Here in los angeles likes like a miracle trying to get one.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
