I already filed K1 last March and I only recieved NOA1.

The question is, would it affect my application when I got my Fiance pregnat?

What step should I do in order to have UNCIS process my application.

Will I just wait for her to give birth in the country she live or if we got lucky get her back here right away and she'll give birth here in USA.

Thanks

They don't fast track for babies, if that's what you're asking.

Where and when she gives birth would depend on USCIS/Embassy processing speeds and her progress, it seems.

If you think about getting her pregnant to speed up your process then I have to disappoint you.

They will work on your case as if she was not pregnant.

Good luck!

Ross-Aiss,

You've already taken the necessary step - you submitted your petition. Your fiancee's pregnancy will have no effect on petition processing - USCIS wouldn't care if they knew.

There may be an effect on the visa application processing when the time comes for that - the consulate may wish to have assurance that you are the biological father.

How far along is she? She might be able to have the baby in her country after her visa is granted and then fly to the US with the baby since they have about a 6 month window to make it here.

I went through the same thing - my fiance got pregnant and searched for answers here on VJ. There will be no change to your timeline or speed of processing your fiance's visa.

I think someone answered me before and said the baby usually gets an automatic visa? Don't know if this still holds true.

You do need to let them know she's pregnant - during her Medical Exam. Important - she can't get X-Rayed or Vaccinated.

Also let them know on your interview

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! and GOOD LUCK!!!!

The baby will need a U.S. passport unless you are not the father. There is no visa for a citizen.

OOPS sorry one last thing you have to know. Airlines won't let her board the plane at her 7th month of pregnancy (3rd trimester). They also won't let newborn infants onboard - I believe for the infant's first month. So I don't know how far along your K-1 process is but this is cutting it really close. Just be prepared to have the baby born in Manila. It shouldn't be too hard to bring the baby to U.S. once she gets her visa. Good Luck!!

About the only thing they will do to help is to delay your K-1 interview if you can prove that your fiance can't fly due to the pregnancy. I use the word "delay", because they will not reschedule it earlier due to pregnancy. I haven't heard of anyone getting anything scheduled earlier due to pregnancy.
