Can a case be already APPROVED but a Tier2 still not been able to see it in their system?

No i dont however I send a RFE which they received it on 10/23/2017 and still I am waiting. I spoke to a Tier 2 who stated that they have up to 60 days to make a decision... my 60 days are up on 12/23/2017 but the Tier 2 stated that my case was updated on 12/6/17 but still showing as pending.

After the 60 days, try calling back and/or putting in a service request. The 60 days is a goal, not a firm timeline.

If the Tier 2 said it was updated but still pending, then it's just that (still pending).

Tier 2 people often are useless, but the one thing they can manage to do is tell you if you've been approved or not. Sorry.

Its actually possible. The tier 2 agents are only slightly more reliable than the tier 1s. In my case I had reason to believe that my AP/EAD had been approved even though it hadnt reflected on the website. I had made an infopass appointment and the local agents got in touch with the agent handling my case at the NBC and got a commitment from them saying theyd make a decision in 24 hrs. I spoke to a tier 2 agent 3 days later and they said it still hadnt been approved. I then called again the next day and the tier 2 i spoke to said not only had it been approved but my combo card had already been processed and shipped 2 days before. 

 

Long story short if you have reason to believe that there might be movement on your case I would try and speak 2 numerous tier 2 agents and see what majority of them say. Good luck.

 so basically your case was indeed approved even though the tier 2 stated that it was not approved.

Yeah thats exactly what happened. The agent did tell me my case had been assigned to someone though so that might be a question to ask as well. My advice; call at speak to at least 3 different tier 2s, ask them to check if its been approved, ask if they can check to see if its been assigned to an agent yet. Good luck.

The Tier 2 I spoke earlier told me that there was an update on 12/6/2017 and that the case still pending. I will try to call later or tomorrow.
