Hi may I be added to the list of January 2018 filers? I submitted my documents January 25 and received my NOA notice date is January 29. My case is at CSC and like a lot of you have not received anything else other than the NOA. Thanks, and hoping that CSC starts to move along!

So, what happens when the 1 year extension expires? Do we get another 1 year extension? I guess it makes sense to go ahead and submit the N-400 next January since it looks like our cases won't be approved before then.

You can make an appointment at your local office and get a stamp in your passport that extends it for another year.. 

 

btw. the letter extends the gc for a year so its from the day it expires another year not the date on the letter.

 I believe it needs to be your local field office. I don't think they will do this at the application support centers.

I concur, and heard the same thing at my Local ASC. In addition, you cannot do a walk-in at you local Field Office, and must have an InfoPass to be admitted. Infopasses (made online here:) 

https://my.uscis.gov/en/appointment/new?appointment[international]=false

only display and allow booking for a 2-week window; (the day you log onto the link above to make a pass and 2-weeks forward of that date).

Passes are booked quickly, and stay booked, so you may have to log on often and hope to catch a recently opened time slot, that was created by a cancellation.

    I filed my I751 case in January 2018 and did biometrics collection in Feb 2018. Today, when I check the case status, it says: "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the USCIS contract center for additional information". 

 

    I called just now but received no further information. Does it happen to any of you? Thanks!

I get that when checking on the old site (uscis.gov). But when I use the new site (https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/) i can see my status.

Thanks. Saw it from the new website! However, it still only says case filed in Jan, did not even mention about biometrics even collected in Feb. Same thing for you?

You have to create a new account on the new website. It’s a new system.

So the old "my uscis cases" won't be valid anymore? 😕 I even tried to check the status under the new website and it seems just the 1-751's are having that glitch. Any other cases had been updated. 

 

 Honestly this is very frustrating I was reading through the "processing times" and it can take up to 19months to be processed (at field office) 😓
