@heo luoi Sadly yes and I think it also depends on case by case basis. by then you're probably eligible for naturalization, http://globalresidenceindex.com/hnwi-index/passport-index/ according to here, it seems like Vietnam Dual Citizenship is depending. Since its via marriage I guess you're allowed to do dual. For me, sadly its strictly not allowed, I'll have to wait regardless how long its going to take!

Are you taking the 1.5 yrs from the VJ timeline/stats? The volume seems low is that why you are compiling the list in thread as well because bad VJ members dont update their timeline/stats?  The last yr is only like 60 records for CSC but all time the  rate is <50% of what is today for approval. NOTE I updated my profile/stats/timeline today.
I remain super confused on the naturalized citizen stuff. Do you apply even if 751 is outstanding and if 1 yr extention from GC thats <90days plus 1 yr which is < 1.5 yrs?
1.5 yrs seems  crazy the longest was the k1 stretch and we did that in 5 vs 6 mos i think everything  else was 3-4 mos i think. so far.

USCIS works on their own time . As for the Naturalization process . If you are still married to the same USC when u reachtge 3rd year  of having your gc , then you are eligible to start the naturalization process even if you’re still waiting for the I 751 decision .

Yes, if yours was a marriage-based petition, you are eligible to apply for naturalization (N-400) 90 days before the 3 year anniversary of your original green card effective date.  Your application is not dependent on your I-751 having been approved.  In fact, if it hasn't, your citizenship application forces USCIS to adjudicate your I-751, and with the long wait times these days, I am seeing the interviews for the I-751 and N-400 being combined into one visit.

Also, I didn't use personal check. It's cashier check from our bank. So I won't know if they cashed it. Have to inquire the bank. But hoping no problems and the process will go smoothly.

 

 

don't expect too much though.. I sent mine priority mail as well, and they said it supposed to be delivered in 2 days time but it ended up for 6 days.. but all is well, as long as it was delivered lol

Checked in USPS tracking and my i751 package was supposed to be delivered yesterday and as of today my pacakage is "delayed". 😦  I feel very anxious now.

 🙏I just trust God my application was filled out correctly and won't be returned. 

 

I've heard of people saying once their checks is cash  they received NOA. I supposed once they cash the check means they have accepted the application, Correct?

I am on similar timeline with my package sent 0n 01/17 and delivered to Vermont on the 19th. 

Hoping my persinal cheque be cashed soon. Little Nervous as GC expires 02/25. 😨

lol I had no idea. Im updating the list because its a continuation from all monthly threads and I'm just helping to update and maintaining the list.  Maybe @Amhara or @divorcedgayman can assist to answer ur questions. As for naturalization, just like what @CG&CD and @ddtenor2 said. 

Anyway many of the Vjers including myself have called in to ask about the current cases they're working on if you read through the other threads you'll see the queues. For VSC they're currently working on Nov 2016 as I called in a week and half ago, also I did not take the stats from VJ timeline, didn't look at it lol. I should try to look at that too.

I honestly believe they are just using the processing times from the USCIS site when you call in that haven’t been updated since Oct 31.
