Is it odd that I've not heard one word about my I-751 (VSC) since the extension letter?

 

No transfer, no RFE... Just radio silence. My case status update still says "unable to provide any update" and I just get generic still-within-the-processing-time updates during calls with tier 2 officers.

hello guys, 

I applied for I751 and they asked for more evidence. I sent them as much i could get. it is been week I have not heard back anything. Do you guys have any idea that how long they take after they receive evidence from Us. Can you please give me information about this situation.

They usually respond within a month or so.

I’m about to file for N-400. Do you guys have any ideal/obligation on Selective Services number ? I don’t think I know or register anything about this matter. Please advise, Thanks.

Uhm not sure, I can't do N400 sadly, no dual for me. Maybe u wanna check Naturalization thread?

I am not sure how long the response is, but did you send your documents with tracking from USPS? You should really do that.

Also, can you provide us ur details?

Notice of Action Issue Date: (on the green letter)

Notice of Action Received Date: (the day you receive the letter)

Biometrics: (Appt. for ROC not N400)

Interview: (If you are scheduled for interview)

Approval: (ROC Approval not N400)

N400: Yes/No if you applied

Notes: RFE, Case transfer etc that you would like to include.

that is really strange that status has no update, let us know the outcome after.

Drove to Canada and back with extension letter and expired GC. No problems at all. They knew what the letter meant. In and out within 2 minutes.

It's not. We are in the same boat. On one hand, it's a bummer that we see people who submitted months after us being approved. On the other, that's why we have an extension until October. I'm not going to get concerned until around August.

Hmm. My extension is till June, so maybe I'm not as relaxed as you.

Question for the lucky Jan 2018 filers who got approved from VSC: do you see people near your receipt number getting approved as well (from the tracking app) or are you among a big group of “fingerprints are complete” cases?

Even visajourney sent me an email - your approval estimate is past due😂  i am starting a new job in 3 weeks.. hope something by then... when i started my current job they didnt know about the letter and ended up moving my start date so i lost two months of benefits.. thanks uscis
