Hi there. My window opened on 12/20/17 and ready to send my package.

We are doing a joint application. And I have several questions. Maybe y'all can share your opinions.   If packet is send this week it will be 60 days before conditional expires.  all evidence is ready.

Did y'all leave blank answers?

For instance,

No attorney, leave it blank or N/A?

Spouse is us citizen by birth. (No A#) leave it blank, N/A or None?

in the part where mailing address first box "in care of". Leave it blank or N/A?

we don't have children yet? Leave all boxes blank, N/A, None?

is a cover letter necessary?

can I send my documents in a 9x12 yellow bubblewrapped envelope through USPS?

We are sending it to California service center, do I need to put "ATTN: I-751" on envelope?

Any thoughts???

thank you!!!!

I did did a cover letter

my package was too thick for a bubble mailer so I used a box.

Put "N/A" for any and all that don't apply to you. Don't put "None" as it can cause confusion and don't leave blank spaces.

Yes, a cover letter is necessary. Don't leave it out and make sure it neatly lists all of your included paperwork in an organized fashion in the order that it appears in your packet so that it is easier for the IO processing your case to flip through and find any information they are looking for. Make sure you check the guides to see examples of cover letters and make sure both you and your spouse sign it and send the original signed version, not a copy of it.

You can send your packet in anything but you'll probably save money if it will fit in a flat rate mailer depending on the weight. It is recommended that you put "ATTN: I-751" on your package so that it can be given to the correct department for processing. Not necessary, but I'm sure USCIS appreciates anything that makes filing these forms easier.

Hello everyone!

I am probably way overthinking this, but did you send two checks or one combined check for the fees for the I-751 and biometrics?

We wrote just one, but now I am second guessing myself, urgh.

Other than that, we are ready to go, can't wait to get it in the mail and off my desk ;-)

Hi!

I will be sending my ROC package hopefully tomorrow and latest wednesday. I have few questions and hopefully you guys can help me with it.

1) I will be using money order to pay for the ROC fees and I read the USCIS tips page where it states "Write the form you are filing and your A-Number or other applicable identification on the check or money order." Where do you exactly write your A# and should I included my name as well? I am the non-USC spouse.

2) Is it ok to just use paper clips and binder clips to assemble the package? Some of the pages of my evidence do not have enough space to use fastener.

3) Do we have to put A# and non-USC name with USC name on every page of the evidences? Eg. in every page of monthly statements of bank accounts, should there be A# and names on there?

4) Lastly, what is the best courier to use to send the package? I live in WA and I know I will be sending my package to CSC. Is this correct?

I know most of these are just common sense lol but it does not hurt to verify. I just want to be sure :)

Thank you!!

1. I actually didn't put my A# down on the check. I must have missed that. My name was included on the check obviously though. In the memo line I wrote I-751 application and biometrics fee.

2. That's exactly what I did. I used paper clips and binder clips only.

3. I didn't put my A# down on any page (other than the cover letter, and actual I-751 application form)

4. I used USPS.

Thank you!!

1) Alien number can be found when you do your IR1/CR1 documents, try to retrieve those back. I am from K1 Visa so I found my Alien number from those documents. I did not indicate my Alien number on Check though. However, my check was placed in the front page after I-751 cover letter and contents, with the plastic holder and punched together with the stack with fasteners. They can just cut the plastic sheet off to retrieve the check.

2) Yes using paper clips and binder clips are fine, just not staples

3) We did not put any names on every page of evidence and statements, BUT since I used fasteners and I used 4 fasteners (4 stacks), Every first stack I signed and write names on the cover letter Exhibits. I did however highlighted the names and addresses on the statements and each bills.

4) I used USPS express priority with certified mail and return receipt, its a flat rate box of 18.85USD with 3 dollars (return receipt - officer signed when received, certified mail)

Hope these helps.
