2 January 2018 - Package delivered

8 January 2018 - Check cashed in

11 January 2018 - NOA received (DATE of NOA: 3 JAN 2018)

22 January 2018 - Biometrics Appointment letter received

30 January 2018 - Biometrics Appointment

11 August 2018 - 18 Months extension received (Exp on Sept 2019)

8 April 2019 - I751 Approved

12 April 2019 - NOA and greencard received

One of my friend just text me her I-751 case was approved, she applied on March 2018, case did not transfer to anywhere.. so I guess it is a bad news for people who's case was transferred to Nebraska.

California center get rid of our case and speed up for the rest of filers. 💔💔

Nothing wrong with leaving the country as long as you don’t stay away for over than 6 months, I had 14 trips overseas in 3 years and I was approved last month so please don’t worry about as long as you travel with the extension letter( I assume you only need the 18 months). They took me to a room the first time I used it and took me 45 min to go thro, after the first time I was going thro in 5 minutes.

case was transferred on 4/12/2018 from csc to va Potomac 

approval date 1/26/2019

N400 applies 1/2/2019

i received yesterday the mail for more evidence. it says due May 17 and not march 6. They want more evidence when it come to the joint taxes, lease or mortgage, bank accounts and thirds parties that knows us. My question is that how long does it take them to approve the card or not after you sent the evidence? I'm already collecting most of the evidence and hopefully i will send it before the end of the month. Sooner is better i guess.

There is no set time, but many VJ member reported that they hear back within a month or so after the requested information is returned to USCIS.

 

The way it works is, once the case is open and an RFE is issued, your response will go back to that same case officer only.  No one else will touch the case until that officer closes your file with either an adjudication decision (approve or deny) or transfer your file for an interview if he/she is not satisfied with the evidence submitted.

 

Every officer is being monitored (just like any other job you could think of) on how fast or slow they are working on cases.  With that assumption, he/she would most likely close out your cases as soon as practicable when he/she receives what you submit.

 

It is important to note, however, that the clock on your case stop when an RFE is issued, which means that your case waiting time while they are waiting for your RFE reply does not count against that officer.  Only when the RFE is received, then the clock continues.
