Hello! I’ve been following this forum for a long time, but have never posted here before. I’ve mailed my I-751 to the Vermont Service Center at the end of December (2017) and my case was received on Jan. 9th, 2018. Anyways, my status never changed from the “case was received”, but yesterday it got updated to the “new card is being produced”. My case number starts with EAC180695****. I have to mention that I’ve called the 1-800 number with a question and they’ve offered me to schedule an appointment, but when they’ve called me back to offer available dates, I didn’t pick up the phone (I was at work) and I didn’t yet return their call. I’m not sure if my call has triggered the approval, but who knows. And No, I didn’t file the citizenship form yet.

congratulations, thank you for updating here from vsc.im january 2018 filer too but not hearing any updates from uscis neither on the mail. but im so happy for you..

My case finally got updated after transfered to Nebraska!!!

Hopefully this is a good sign.

I just changed my address because we are moving. I hope they don't mess up with address change  like they send my card to the old address once my case gets approved.

I’m filling online form N400. I know that several of you already submitted it. I have issue with question about my spouse’s previous marriages. Question is “Has your current spouse been married previously?” I filled NO. But when I generated form to check if everything is correct I found that question “How many times has your current spouse been married” has answer 0, which is not right. Do/did you have the same issue?

I know all of this. I'm asking specifically about online application.

@VesnaCR

Maybe you can copy this question to the forum N-400 and I-751 combo pending.  Those folks in there already filed N-400.

I am filling out the form on paper as a preparation before my window opens for online filing, and I answer 0 for this question because my spouse has not been married before we got married.

I thought (and also based on searching) that answer should be 1 because your ongoing marriage is counted too. But maybe I'm wrong.

@VesnaCR that particular question — Part 10, Question 8. in my opinion only asks for your spouse’s PRIOR marriage, if any.  Your current marriage is already covered and asked in this same part - Part 10, Question 4.

then It makes sense that online application fills this question as "0". but even lawyers say that right answer is "1"

@VesnaCR - if you have no control over this number (the system automatically fill it as 0 when you answer “no” to the question whether your spouse has been married previously), then there is nothing you can do about it and a lot of people have already filed only and gone through the whole process to become a citizen.  Based on that fact that we know, we will have to trust that the system intends to count only previous marriage(s), if any.

it just made me nervous. But your explanation means that the question could be understand differently. Thank you so much.
