JulianaGigi - Has your case already been transferred from CSC to NSC/TSC/VSC already prior to this transfer notice today?

our case was originally submitted to CSC on Jan 5, 2018 and received. In June 2018, we received mail that the case had been transferred from the Potomac, VA office to the California office. According to the 'My Case Status' site, the file then was moved again to either "another USCIS office" or "Case was received at my local office" two separate notices within a day of each other this week.

How many of the January approvals have applied for N400? Is there any correlation between the approvals and N400 pushing the 751 through?

Luis originally wanted to wait until he got his new GC to apply for N400 but seeing as there are now January approvals and he feels like if the waits he just wasting time that could be used in the citizenship timeline.

I do think that my n400 bios pushed through my i751 approval. I never received a bios apt for my i751 and after I walked in for my n400 bios I got approved for my i751. 2 weeks later.

Also in my opinion since n400 are taking forever you start "gaining" some time and you might get approve on for your i751 while getting on your n400. that is just my personal opinion and experience.

Good luck!

I never had bios for I-751 but did for N400, that was around 3 weeks ago but I've not had the same luck with them pushing through my I-751. I honestly think the whole case movement thing is when the case moves between an officer. Officers are assigned a set number of cases and take them home to work on for the most part.

I got a message also that my 'Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction'.  Slightly disappointed as I'd hoped the message would tell me that my card was approved, but at least I know some progress is happening. Also looking at the fact that others are also receiving this message at the same time, appears that this is possibly not something to be disheartened by specific to my case, but perhaps a general process with a 'batch' of applications. Hopefully the letter will explain why. FYI my number is WAC1807XXXXXX

But who knows the mysteries of how USCIS operates! At least it's in the system and moving!

This means someone would be working on your case soon. I think you will get approval in next few days.

Same for my husband.  Last update was fingerprint reviewed Apr 9th.  We filed end of Jan 2018 and he had biometrics in March.  My original estimate was on a June decision, anything earlier is a bonus I guess.  Haha we are used to seeing other centers process faster, Fiance visa was at Texas lol.

My case was transferred to a new office twice in the last 2 days, I think that maybe is a bug on their website, coz I had zero updates for one year, and now 4 update changes in the status of my case... I think that is probably a bug because the messages are similar by the wording is not the same... But at least is some movement, I think that my case is in Chicago, because I filled my N-400 last month and I've already did my biometrics, hope get a letter with interview appointment soon...
